I never planned on being an older Mom but it turns out I was 33 by the time I got married and
therefore destined to have my family later in life.  My first visit to the OB/GYN revealed that, at 35
years old, I was considered AMA or of “Advanced Maternal Age”.  This label can be scary and so I
wanted to build this website to share with you some information on pregnancy if you’re 35 or older.

The website covers information on:
Getting pregnant after age 35 - A few helpful hints can make all the difference
Miscarriage - Find out about your risk, warning signs and treatment
Tests available during pregnancy - The decisions are yours to make
Gestational diabetes - You can still deliver a healthy baby
I have first-hand experience with all of the above and hope I can help ease some of your fears and
provide you with some easy-to-understand information.  The good news is that I went on to have 3
healthy children (pictured above on the left) before I turned 40 and my biggest problem now is
facing the fact that I’ll be almost 60 when my last child finally graduates high school!

Disclaimer - I am not a doctor so please consult your own obstetrician as needed.  Thank you!
